Heidi Chen
Heidi Chen is a multifaceted artist working across Dance, Acting, and Modelling.
Born in northern China, she is of Manchu descent and grew up under the influence of Korean culture. Relocated in New Zealand at the age of 15, now based in Los Angeles.
Known for her cross-genre fluency, Heidi brings a distinctive edge to every project.

A dancer since the age of four, she was selected at nine to train at the Chinese Military Academy of Arts in Beijing, where she underwent transformative training in both traditional and contemporary genres. At fifteen, she relocated to Auckland, where she immersed herself in street dance, television, and film within the Western creative industry. Her dedication to her craft has taken her across continents, training under world-renowned choreographers and mentors in New York and Los Angeles within the vibrant street dance and commercial industries.
Since 2017, Heidi’s unique brand and global pursuits have established her as a versatile artist across continents. Her credits include Disney Studios (US), Coachella Music and Arts Festival (US), Rita Ora (UK), Rebecca Black (US), Keke Palmer (US), Les Mills (International), Red Bull (NZ), Salman Khan (India), Dancing with the Stars (NZ), Six60 (NZ), Sylvia Park (NZ), Jolin Tsai World Tour (China), and Kpop Academy (NZ).
Heidi’s artistry also extends into the world of K-pop, where she has worked as both a skeleton crew dancer and assistant choreographer for some of the genre’s most iconic artists, including XG, Lisa (BLACKPINK), TWICE, HyunA, Hwasa, Red Velvet, and AOA.
In 2025, Heidi established a creative company - HCreative Co. The Company thrives on pre-professional / professional dance training and choreography work to compliment Heidi’s dance career. She is passionate about bringing her crafts whenever she travels.
Heidi is currently represented by 3WJ+boys in New Zealand. US representation is vacant and currently seeking for a new representation.

On screen, Heidi made her cinematic debut in Disney’s Mulan (2020) and has appeared in Ahikāroa (Māori TV), Dancing with the Stars NZ (TVNZ), and K-Pop Academy (TVNZ / NZ On Air). She has also featured in global campaigns for brands including American Express, Taco Bell, Red Bull, Chubb US, Jägermeister, the New Zealand Defence Force, Sylvia Park, and Les Mills, demonstrating a strong and versatile on-screen presence across both narrative and commercial work.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English, Heidi brings a grounded, emotiolly connected approach to her work, combined with strong physicality. With a background in dance and stunt-based movement, she is well suited to expressive characters across both Western and Asian markets.
Heidi is currently represented by Karen Kay Management for acting.
